Main Objective:

The video journalist will play a central creative role in crafting and supporting BrandThink communications initiatives, using compelling and authentic video-based storytelling customised for various audiences and communication platforms. This role requires creative concepting, enterprise reporting, and strong writing and on-camera interviewing skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Produce original and shareable video content that aligns with overall business objectives [BrandThink].
* Responsible for all aspects of story development from ideation to final product.
* Follow appropriate guidelines and processes for video production and collaborate with internal production team and creative teams to ensure final product represents BrandThink brand and style.
* Work closely with corporate journalists or BrandThink’s creator to strategise story ideas and content for a variety of communication initiatives and platforms.
* Work closely with corporate journalists or BrandThink’s creator to develop news packages for newsroom.
* Working with cross functional teams, external influencers and industry experts to identify, research and execute story opportunities.
* Manage a variety of special assignments, including patient testimonial videos and other video projects.
* Coordinate and conduct interviews with individuals at all levels of the group, organisation.
* Assist with various PR/media relations efforts, as assigned.
* Strategise and implement new formats and approaches to video content so that messages are continually delivered to key audiences in creative and unique ways.

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in journalism, communications or related field
* Minimum 1 years of on-camera reporting and scriptwriting experience required
* Public relations and crisis communications experience preferred

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
* Strong experience with public speaking and on-camera reporting
* Experience coaching on-camera talent
* Organizational skills and the ability to work under constant time pressure deadlines
* Must be editorially strong, creative and resourceful with a demonstrated aptitude for storytelling
* Established track record of creating high-volume, high-quality video content from start to finish
* Exceptional time and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple stakeholders with changing priorities
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working successfully with cross-functional teams
* Deadline- and detail-oriented with strong initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects/processes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
