Practical Skills is another of The HOME's mini platforms created to share valuable knowledge that can be applied in daily life and empower individuals as responsible co-habitants.

Inspired by collaborative projects already rising awareness on topics such as sustainability, deforestation, zero waste, disposable fashion and more; these skills can be applied individually and in community.

Learn , grow and expand....workshop Stitching will be lead by Carla Soledad, co-founder of The HOME and a fashion designer for over 15 years.

These workshop is for people interested in exploring self expression using hand work techniques.
Carla will have lots of examples of ways to use stitching to embellish runners, quilts, bags, clothing etc.

Participants should come with a sense of adventure and be willing to experiment with various threads and techniques. Join the world of slow sewing and find the joys in thread work.
