นักแสดงรุ่นใหม่ไฟแรงชาวสิงคโปร์

ปัจจุบันขณะ คือ สิ่งที่ยากจะจับต้อง แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็เป็นแรงผลักดันที่สำคัญต่อการแสดง เมื่อนักแสดงถูกบอกว่า ให้อยู่กับ “ปัจจุบัน” เขาจะเปิดรับสิ่งรอบตัวและผู้ร่วมแสดงในขณะนั้น และเติมเต็มพื้นที่การแสดงรวมถึงห้วงเวลานั้นด้วยตัวเขา อะไรคือ “ปัจจุบันขณะ” ปัจจุบันขณะก่อให้เกิดสิ่งใด และนักแสดงจะทำลายกำแพงของตนได้อย่างไร ผู้ร่วมเวิร์กชอปครั้งนี้จะได้ศึกษาผ่านแบบฝึกหัดทางการแสดงต่าง ๆ เพื่อเรียนรู้เทคนิคพื้นฐานในการอยู่กับปัจจุบันขณะ และนำมาใช้ในการแสดง
* เวิร์กชอปครั้งนี้นำบรรยายเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ

An acting workshop by Shou Chen Tan, Singaporean theatremaker.

Presence is an elusive but important power of an actor's performance. When an actor is described as "present" he is considered to be in the moment and mindful of his environment and fellow players. His presence fills and transforms the space and time with his being. What is presence, what does it constitute, and how can an actor unlock his potential? This workshop is designed to help discover and unlock one's presence on stage. Through a series of acting exercises, participants will learn simple techniques to train towards being present and having presence on stage.
* Workshop will be conducted in English.
