Handmade 3D Abstract Film

รู้หรือไหมว่ามีฟิล์มสามมิติประเภทหนึ่งที่แตกต่างจากฟิล์มที่ใช้ในหนังฮอลลีวู้ด วัตถุประสงค์ของเวิร์กช้อปนี้คือ การค้นหาและสำรวจความเป็นไปได้ที่จะทำหนังสามมิติด้วยมือและเอฟเฟค ที่สร้างจากสีที่ถูกเลือกมาและความต่างของแสง

วิธีที่ใช้ในเวิร์กช็อปนี้เรียกว่า ภาพลวงตา 3 มิติที่ใช้เอฟเฟค Pulfrich (Pulfrich effect 3D illusion) จะไม่เหมือนกับวิธีที่ใช้ในฮอลลีวู้ด แต่จะเป็นฟิล์มที่ใช้วิธีดังกล่าว ซึ่งสามารถใช้ได้ทั้งกับ 2 มิติและ 3 มิติ ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นผู้ชมแต่ละคนจะได้รับประสบการณ์ที่แตกต่างกันออกไป

อาจจะคิดกันว่า การทำหนัง 3 มิติเป็นสิ่งที่เข้าถึงยาก ด้วยเพราะที่เป็นเรื่องเชิงเทคนิคมากๆ และใช้ทุนทรัพย์สูง แต่ด้วยจุดประสงค์การจัดเวิร์กช็อปนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมจะได้โอกาสที่จะทำความเข้าใจว่า ไม่มีความจำเป็นที่ภาพยนตร์ที่เป็นงานศิลปะจะต้องสร้างด้วยเทคนิคต่างๆ ที่มีขายในท้องตลาด แต่สามารถประสบความสำเร็จได้ด้วยความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของผู้ทำ ความคิดที่จะทำให้คุณสามารถก้าวข้ามขอบเขตระหว่างระบบอนาล็อกและดิจิตอลได้อย่างเสรี

Experimental Film Workshop by Makino Takashi

Title: Handmade 3D Abstract Film

Do you know there are a kind of 3D film different from what you find in Hollywood movie. The object of this workshop is to explore possibilities to create 3D film with your own hand and effects created by color of your choice and contrast of light.

The method which we use for this workshop is called ‘Pulfrich effect 3D illusion’. Not like the one used in Hol-lywood, a film using this method can be appreciated as both 2D and 3D. Moreover it will give each person different experience.

You may think 3D film production is something not accessible as it is too technical and expensive. But this workshop is designed to liberate the participants and let them understand that artistic film is not necessarily something you can make with techniques on sale but achieved through one’s creative mind, a mind which will give you freedom to go across the boundary between analog and digital.
