กระทรวงวัฒนธรรมร่วมกับหอศิลปวัฒนธรรมแห่งกรุงเทพมหานครจัดบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “The Royal Academy of Arts: Past, Present and Future” โดย Charles Saumarez Smith ผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ Royal Academy of Arts สหราชอาณาจักร ซึ่งการบรรยายในครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสที่หาได้ยากยิ่งสำหรับผู้สนใจชาวไทย โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ศิลปิน อาจารย์ด้านศิลปะ ภัณฑารักษ์ ผู้ที่ชื่นชอบ ในงานศิลปะ นักเรียนและนักศึกษาด้านศิลปะ ที่จะได้รับทราบเกี่ยวกับสถาบันศิลปะที่ยิ่งใหญ่แห่งนี้ ซึ่งก่อตั้งในปี พ.ศ. 2311 โดยพระเจ้าจอร์จที่ 3 เพื่อสนับสนุนงานศิลปะและการออกแบบในสหราชอาณาจักรผ่านการศึกษา และนิทรรศการ

Royal Academy of Arts มีเป้าหมายที่จะส่งเสริมความเชี่ยวชาญของศิลปินด้วยการฝึกฝนและ การจัดนิทรรศการศิลปะ โดยให้การสนับสนุนแก่โรงเรียนศิลปะแห่งชาติ และกระตุ้นเตือนให้บุคคลทั่วไป เกิดความสนใจบนพื้นฐานของความพอใจและความคิดสร้างสรรค์

CEO, Royal Academy of Arts gives special talk at bacc

Ministry of Culture and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (bacc) announce a special lecture by Charles Saumarez Smith, Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Arts, London.

Charles Saumarez Smith will give a talk entitled “The Royal Academy of Arts: Past, Present and Future”. This lecture will give a rare opportunity for Thai audience especially artists, art teachers and art students to know more about this grand art institution founded in 1768 by King George III with a mission to promote art and design in Britain through education and exhibition.

The motive of the Royal Academy of Arts is to raise the professional status of the artist by a system of art training and art exhibition with appropriate standard of excellence. Behind this concept is desire to foster a national school of art and encourage interest in the public based on taste and creativity.
