อัตตาแกลเลอรี่ และ แอท’เทลเยฤดี ภูมิใจนำเสนอการบรรยายผลงานทัศนศิลป์ของ Ruudt Peters ศิลปินชาวเนเธอร์แลนด์ที่เป็นหนึ่งในศิลปินที่มีอิทธิพล และ เป็นแรงบันดาลใจสำคัญสำหรับ วงการเครื่องประดับศิลป์ร่วมสมัยในปัจจุบัน

เดินทางสู้โลกแห่งการสร้างสรรค์ทัศนศิลป์ของ Ruudt Peters ผ่านการนำเสนอผลงาน ที่สร้างสรรค์ระหว่างปี คศ. 1974 - ปัจจุบัน

“การเล่นแร่แปรธาตุเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างงานเครื่องประดับหลายชุดของผม สตูดิโอสร้างงาน ของผมนั้นเป็นเหมือนห้องทดลองที่วัสดุธรรมดาๆต่างๆนั้นถูกแปรเปลี่ยนสภาพให้เป็นบทกวี ผมหมก หมุนกับการค้นหา ความสมดุลย์ระหว่างความเป็นตะวันตก และ ความเป็นตะวันออก ระหว่างการมีสติ และ การขาดสติ ระหว่างการใช้สมองซีกขวา และ สมองซีกซ้าย ระหว่างความมีแบบแผน และ ความสับสนวุ่นวาย เครื่องประดับ ของผมนั้นอาจเรียกได้ว่าเป็นวัตถุทางการสื่อสาร โดยที่คุณลักษณะของความงามของงานนั้นมีอยู่ภายใน และ ยังได้ถูกแสดงออกมาภายนอกอีกด้วย”

ATTA Gallery and Atelier Rudee proudly present a talk by Ruudt Peters, a Dutch artists who is one of the most influential and inspiring contemporary jewelry artists in the today’s world of contemporary art jewelry.

Take a trip through a presentation of a large body of work created by Ruudt Peters between 1974-now.

“Alchemy has always been an inspiration for my jewellery series. My atelier is a laboratory in which all sorts of different prosaic materials can be transmuted into poetry. … I am constantly investigating the balance between West and East, between the conscious and the unconscious, between my left brain and right brain, between structure and chaos. My jewellery are rather communicative objects, and its beauty lies as much in their inner qualities as in their outward effects.”

The talk titled “The Philosopher’s Stone: the Search for Wisdom in Alchemy and Mankind” is scheduled for Tuesday June 5, 2012 from 14:00-16:00 at Multi-Function Hall, 1st Floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Center, Bangkok.
