ศิลปะขันธาจริงใจและยินดีนำเสนอผลงานการแสดงประจำปีเรื่องใหม่ล่าสุด Paradigm Paradise!! ซึ่งเป็นงานการแสดงเดี่ยวอัตชีวประวัติบางส่วนในวัยเด็ก ผ่านการนำเสนอในรูปแบบการเต้นร่วมสมัย, บูโต และละครพูด โดยโซโนโกะ พราว – ผู้มีประสบการณ์กว่าสิบปี ในฐานะนักแสดง ผู้กำกับ นักเต้นบูโต และครูสอนการแสดง อีกทั้งยังเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งกลุ่มศิลปะขันธาซึ่งมีผลงานมากมายในระดับนานาชาติ Paradigm Paradise!! เป็น ผลงานที่ได้รับการพัฒนาอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยมีจุดเริ่มต้นจากการทำงานและเรียนรู้ร่วมกันในการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ โปรแกรมพัฒนาศิลปินลุ่มแม่น้ำโขงครั้งที่ 5 ซึ่งศิลปะขันธาเป็นหนึ่งในตัวแทนประเทศไทย จากทั้งหมดแปดคณะละคร แปดกลุ่มศิลปิน ใน 5 ประเทศ เข้าร่วมการอบรม 5th Mekong Performing Arts Laboratory 2010 ณ ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ เมื่อช่วงเดือนตุลาคมที่ผ่านมา จัดโดยสถาบันการละครศึกษาแห่งฟิลิปปินส์ (PETA) ด้วยการสนับสนุนจาก Save the Children UK และ Terre des Homme

Synopsis (เรื่องย่อ) :
เมื่อการแสดงจบลง นักแสดงบูโตกำลังทำความสะอาด เช็ดแป้งสีขาวที่ทาหน้าและตัวออก  เรื่องราวในวัยเด็กจึงเผย  ออกมา  การทำร้ายร่างกายจากพี่เลี้ยง, โรคกลัวคางคกอย่างหนัก (Bufonophobia) จากความไม่รู้ในการสอน, ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างแม่และลูก, การหนีตายจากการไล่ล่าของมือปืน ฯลฯ จากเรื่องราวของเด็กคนหนึ่งสู่เรื่องราวและชีวิตของเด็กทุกคน ร่วมหัวเราะทั้งน้ำตาและค้นพบ ความมหัศจรรย์ของการมีชีวิตอยู่

Paradigm Paradise!!

Khandha Arts’n Theatre Company will present its founder, veteran actor and butoh artist Sonoko Prow’s auto-biographical solo performance “Paradigm Paradise!!” in December in Chiang Mai and Bangkok.

A solo work retelling Sonoko’s life through dance and drama performance, “Paradigm Paradise” is a powerful account of a dark past: a broken family with constantly changing surrogate parents: an abusive guardian, a love-hate relationship with her alcoholic mother; her runaway from gunman… Despite her pain and misery, the decision to change the perspective towards life brings forth miracles.

“Paradigm Paradise!!” was directed by Phil Noble (from Philippine Educational Theater Association PETA) and choreographed by Katsura Kan (experienced butoh artist from Japan). The work was initially developed during The 5th Mekong Performing Arts Laboratory 2010 held in Manila and Bohol, Philippines, organized by PETA. Continual reworking has developed the piece to its present version.

Sonoko Prow is a performing artist that blends her diverse training in theatre, butoh, martial arts, yoga and meditation to create her own performing vocabulary. She founded Khandha Arts’n Theatre Company and form collaboration with artists from various disciplines and communities from different parts of the society. She has recently staged her works in Phnom Penh and Budapest.

“Paradigm Paradise!!” part of Mekong Creative Communities Arts for Advocacy Fellowship 2010 organized by Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) with main support from Save the Children through the European Union, with additional contributions from Terre des Hommes.

“Paradigm Paradise!!” opens in Chiangmai’s Nap 11th on 6th December with two performances at 6 PM and 8.30 PM. Bangkok performances will be held at Patravadi Theatre’s Studio 1 from 17th to 19th December.
