STATEMENT

To create a valuable and powerful piece of thing, its structure should be composed of many elements together; we call that single element as “Modular”.  Modular ’ s artworks are inspired by the idea that every surrounding things around us for examples plants, animals things are ordinary come from the “Primary form” that composed of many small “Modular” in amazing way. As well as approach and vision of the group that there is differences in term of each individual who join the creative arts with the combination of new media.

MODULAR AESTHETICS see no boundaries beauty in each media and material types. By express the beauty of those objects and blend with new media in a trial way, in term of Visual Images, Sound , or even Interactive between space, time and human.

MODULAR AESTHETICS’ scope focuses on the experiment of Visual Elements and Sound (Audio) in order to search for beauty of diversity components caused by concept or technical processes in both Analog and Digital format, which is blended of exotic and familiar things together to bring out the beauty without adhere to any format, space or traditional art.

MODULAR AESTHETICS contains a diversity of artists such as New Media visual Art, Photographic, Sound Art, Fashion, Product Sculpture and Interactive that allows the Mix and Match between media together. Each member of the group likes a small element together to respond to the New Media, which clearly became the origin of MODULARS AESTHETIC.

MODULAR AESTHETICS’ approaches to create an art from the beauty in environment surrounding and expresses via New Media, such as Projection on the Wall, Interactive, Sound Art, Fashion Art, Product Art and Photo Art. MODULARS AESTHETICS combines modern art and design harmoniously. By arranging the group’s Art Exhibition for the first time at Sol Space on January 22, 2011 – February 5, 2011

การสร้างสรรค์สิ่งใดสิ่งหนึ่งที่มีคุณค่าและทรงพลัง สิ่งเหล่านั้นมักจะประกอบไปด้วยปัจจัย และองค์ประกอบหลายสิ่งเข้าด้วยกัน เราเรียกหน่วยย่อยๆนั้นว่า Modular ซึ่งงานของกลุ่มได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจาก ความคิดที่ว่าทุกวันนี้เราหันไปมองสิ่งต่างๆที่อยู่รอบตัว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพืช สัตว์ หรือ สิ่งของ เราต่างได้เห็นถึงรูปทรง Primary form ที่เป็น Modular หรือหน่วยเล็กๆ ประกอบเข้าด้วยกัน ได้อย่างน่าอัศจรรย์ เปรียบเสมือนแนวทางและวิสัยทัศน์ของ MODULAR AESTHETICS  ที่มีความแตกต่างในเชิง Media ของแต่ละปัจเจกบุคคล ที่มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์ศิลปะ โดยเป็นการผสมผสานทางสื่อสมัยใหม่ ในเชิงทดลอง

MODULAR AESTHETICS นั้นมองเห็นความงามในสื่อและวัสดุในแต่ละประเภทโดยไม่มีขอบเขต จึงสามารถแสดงออกถึงความงามในตัวของวัตถุเหล่านั้น และนำมาผสานกับสื่อสมัยใหม่ (New Media) ในรูปแบบทดลอง ทั้งในเรื่องของภาพ (Visual) และเสียง (Audio) หรือแม้แต่การปฏิสัมพันธ์ (Interactive) ระหว่าง พื้นที่ (Space) เวลา (Time) และมนุษย์ (Human) ภายในผลงาน

ขอบเขตเนื้อหาสาระของ  MODULAR AESTHETICS อยู่ที่การทดลองทาง ทัศนธาตุ (Visual Elements) และ เสียง (Sound) เพื่อมุ่งเน้นค้นหาความงามที่มีส่วนประกอบของความหลากหลาย ที่เกิดจากกระบวนการทางความคิด หรือทางเทคนิค ทั้งในรูปแบบ Analog และ Digital ที่ผสมผสานสิ่งแปลกใหม่กับสิ่งที่คุ้นเคย เพื่อให้เกิดความงามเฉพาะ และไม่ยึดติดกับพื้นที่ รูปแบบ หรือคุณค่าประเพณีดั้งเดิมทางศิลปะ

MODULAR AESTHETICS ประกอบด้วย ศิลปินดังต่อไปนี้

ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Visual art , Photo , Sound art , Fashion , Product Sculpture และ Interactive ทำให้เกิดการ Mix and Match ผสมสื่อต่างๆ เข้าด้วยกัน เพื่อแสดงถึง Aesthetics ของสื่อเหล่านี้ สมาชิกในกลุ่มจึงเปรียบเสมือนหน่วยย่อยๆ ที่มาประกอบกัน จนเป็นหน่วยใหญ่และตอบสนองคำว่า New media อย่างชัดเจน ทำให้แสดงถึง ความเป็นมาของชื่อกลุ่มว่า  MODULAR AESTHETICS

แนวทางของ MODULAR AESTHETICS คือสร้างสรรค์ ศิลปะรูปแบบที่เกิดจากความงามในสภาพแวดล้อมที่อยู่รอบตัว แฝงนัย ออกมาในรูปแบบต่างๆ และแสดงออกทางสื่อ สมัยใหม่ไม่ว่าจะเป็น Projection on the  wall ,Interactive ,Sound Art ,Fashion Art ,Product  Art และ Photo Art ซึ่ง MODULAR AESTHETICS ได้ผสมผสานงานศิลปะ และงานออกแบบสมัยใหม่เข้าด้วยกันอย่างกลมกลืน โดยทาง MODULAR AESTHETICS จะจัด มีงาน Art Exhibition ที่ Sol Space ในวันที่ 22 มค. 2011 ซึ่งงานนี้มี Concept  ตามชื่อกลุ่มว่า  MODULAR AESTHETICS ตามข้อมูล statement เบื้องต้นนั้นเอง
