บ่อยครั้งที่เราได้เห็น "สถาปัตยกรรม" จากรูปลักษณ์ภายนอก ในฐานะสิ่งก่อสร้างเคลื่อนไหวไม่ได้ที่อาจปรากฏอยู่ต่อหน้าหรือในภาพถ่ายอะไรสักอย่าง แต่ "REM" ขอชวนมาพบประสบการณ์ใหม่ผ่านสายตาไม่เหมือนใครของ โทมัส โกลฮาส ลูกชายแท้ๆ ของ แร็ม โกลฮาส ซึ่งจะพาเราเข้าไปสำรวจชีวิต ความคิด และผลงานของพ่อผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ของเขาในอาคาร CCTV จนกลายมาเป็นการบอกเล่าความสัมพันธ์อันเลื่อนไหลและเปี่ยมชีวิตชีวาระหว่างมนุษย์ สถาปัตยกรรม และผู้ออกแบบมัน

Architecture is often viewed from the outside as an inanimate object represented in still imagery. ‘REM’, directed by Tomas Koolhaas, son of notorious Rem Koolhaas), exposes the human experience of architecture. The resulting documentary is more revealing than the generic poster image, and more evocative than the intellectual reality of architectural renderings.
