เชิญทุกท่านร่วมงานเสวนา “ศิลปะร่วมสมัยในพนมเปญ” Contemporary Art in Phnom Penh: Some Divergent Views โดยเป็นการนำเสนอแง่มุมต่างๆ เกี่ยวกับศิลปะและศิลปินร่วมสมัยในกรุงพนมเปญ ผ่านความคิดและมุมมองของศิลปินและภัณฑารักษ์ที่ทำงานในแวดวงศิลปะร่วมสมัยในกัมพูชา ในวันเสาร์ที่ 4 ตุลาคม ตั้งแต่เวลา 10:30น. ถึง 18:00น. ที่ The Reading Room โดยงานนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของนิทรรศการ และโครงการศิลปินแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างกรุงเทพฯและพนมเปญ “Rates of Exchange, Un-Compared: Contemporary Art in Bangkok and Phnom Penh” โดยภัณฑารักษ์ Roger Nelson และ Brian Curtin

Please join us for a day-long seminar as part of a 6-month project of exhibitions, residencies and symposia “Rates of Exchange, Un-Compared: Contemporary Art in Bangkok and Phnom Penh,” curated by Roger Nelson and Brian Curtin. A variety of speakers will offer a multi-faceted introduction to contemporary art in the Cambodian capital on Saturday, October 4th from 10:30am - 6pm at The Reading Room, Silom 19.
* Brief Thai translation will be provided throughout the event.

10.30am - Tith Kanitha: An introduction to the artist’s work
11.20am - Lim Sokchanlina: An introduction to the artist's work as well as the work of Sa Sa Projects in Phnom Penh

12.10pm - Lunch break

1.10pm - Erin Gleeson: An introduction to the works of Svay Ken, discussing his context and importance
2.00pm - Amy Lee Sanford: An introduction to her own practice in the context of a diasporic Khmer

2.50pm - Coffee break

3.40pm - Roger Nelson: An introduction to critical contexts for understanding contemporary art in Cambodia
4.30pm - Pen Sereypagna: An introduction to the urban history of Phnom Penh, and this young architect’s various projects
