เมื่อพื้นที่จัดแสดงเป็นหนึ่งในเงื่อนไขของการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ ศิลปินจะมีวิธีคิด และการจัดการอย่างไร เมื่องานศิลปะถูกจัดแสดงโดยมีพื้นที่เป็นข้อกำหนด บริบทที่เคยเป็นจะยังคงอยู่หรือบางเบา พื้นที่ตามธรรมชาติ และห้องจัดแสดง (gallery) มีส่วนช่วยกระตุ้นการรับรู้เข้าใจงานศิลปะของผู้ชมได้ขนาดไหน
