"  นิทรรศการนี้เป็นการนำเสนอผลงานภาพถ่าย  และรวมถึงการฉายภาพนำเสนอในรูปแบบวีดีโอ ที่มีเนื้อหา 
ในการสำรวจความรู้สึกและอารมณ์ของผู้หญิงซึ่งถือว่าเป็นเพศที่อ่อนแอ   โดยไม่ได้มุ่งเน้นในการกล่าวถึงในเรื่องของสิทธิสตรี 

หากแต่กำลังกล่าวถึงปัญหาต่างๆ  ที่ผู้หญิงเป็นคนรับผลกระทบนั้นๆ "
 ศิลปินคุณ Soofia เกิดและเติบโตในเมือง Karachi ในปากีสถาน 
สไตล์การทำงานของเธอนั้น อาจกล่าวได้ว่า เป็นผลงานที่ตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของความจริงที่มีการนำเสนอในรูปแบบที่เกินจริงหรือเสมือนเป็นสิ่งที่สมมุติขึ้นมา  
และโดยส่วนมากผลงานส่วนตัวของเธอนั้น จะมีเนื้อหาและเรื่องราวของผู้หญิง  โดยเกี่ยวกับแบ่งแยกบทบาททางเพศอย่างชัดเจนในสังคม

 'Silent Images' exhibition from our 3rd artist in residence Soofia Asad. 
Please join us for the Opening reception on Thursday  18th  August 2011  at  6:30 pm.
At  The Pikture Gallery :  artist @ work Studio on 2nd floor , FREEDOM  HOUSE
 This exhibition will showcase a series of photographs as well as stop-motion videos, exploring the artist's feelings and emotions about women as the weaker gender.
Approached not with a feministic view but rather as a statement that reflects on the issues that are generally accepted by women themselves.
 Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, her photography style is based on exaggerated or fictionalized reality and most of her personal work
revolves around the female gender in a society that has a clear demarcation of the sexes.
