Curated by Charnchai Siriwittayacharoen and supported by many lengendary and national artists of Thailand, THE SIGNATURE Drawing & Print exhibition presents drawings and print works of rising stars a group of younger generation and up and coming artists. A few notable pieces to keep an eye out for include: sketches of the Pumin Temple by Professor Fua Haripitak, crayon works by Professor Aungkarn Kallanapong, drawings by Professor Ittipon Tungchalok with collections from his university days as well, award winning sketches by Professor Suviraj Taotong, and print works by renowned Professor Araya Rajchamroensuk among many more!
Mr. Siriwattayacharoen expresses how he noticed that many collectors have not seemed to be interested in drawings and print work. However, he believes that Thai artists are extremely talented and skilled drawing and prints, even when placed next to other Asian countries, such as China, Japan and India. Therefore, he would like to take this opportunity to showcase these works and to share the importance of this genre of arts with both local and international audiences.
The exhibition runs November 8, 2018 until November 30, 2018 in rooms 236, 237, 240, 241, 263 on the 2nd floor and in RCB Artery on the 1st floor.
