Panoramas of Paris
Photo exhibition by Prachaya Achatewan
Alliance Francaise de Bangkok is proud to present the stunning panoramic view photo exhibition, “Panoramas of Paris” by Thai photographer Prachaya Achatewan from September 13 to October 30, 2011 at Alliance Francaise. Admission is free.
Prachaya Achatewan, also known as Oat, is a 29-year-old photographer who learned his trade on his own before receiving a communication and graphic arts diploma from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi. Later on, he took courses in black and white photography and used several tutorial programs on the Internet, which enabled him to develop his skills and improve his work.
Prachaya went to Paris in 2010 to shoot a series of panoramic views of the capital’s various tourist sights and locations such as the Eiffel Tower and the Parvis de la Défense esplanade. When he returned, he printed these photos in huge formats with the help of Myrtille Tibayrenc, a French woman in charge of the Toot Young Gallery in Bangkok. His gigantic photos will be exhibited at the Alliance Francaise for more than a month.
