Her love for the people and cultures of Asia continues to this day, and sh e is delighted to have a new exhibition at The Pikture GalleryIn her 2 0’s Ms. Moynihan spent many years working with Andy Warhol at Interv iew Magazine and \"Andy Warhol’s TV.\" Andy Warhol launched Ms. Moyn ihan’s career as an artist and musician. She has published two bests elling works of fiction, “Yoga Hotel” and “Covergirl, and has pr oduced three albums: “Yoga Hotel” “Bombay Superstar” and “Ba ngkok Taxi” about Thailand’s magical capital city.What do I love a bout Bangkok?Bangkok is a feast of beauty. Every soi bursts with Brahm a, Buddha, flowers, food, wats, chedis, tuk tuks, canals, gardens. It is impossible not to paint; every wat is a treasure, every soi is a sp ectacle, every night is a dream, every day is a miracle.\r\nI take my sketchbook with me every day, I use pencil and watercolors - dries qui ckly, easy to carry. The guide books say that Bangkok has more the 400 temples, so I go hunting for new wats every weekend, driving through Bangkok for hours with my friend and motorbike taxi driver, Samlor. In Bangkok the gods and legends of the Buddhist and Hindu and Chinese pa ntheon are alive. The Chinese Gods melt into the Ramakien, which is wo ven into the Life of Lord Buddha, both avatars of Lord Vishnu.\r\nTHE PEOPLE'S KINGKing Bhumibol was a great inspiration to Thai artists, an d in the past year of his mourning I went to many art expositions abou t the king and created my own series of portraits of The People's King . I worked with photographs that for decades hung in wats, markets and homes throughout Rama 9’s 70-year reign.
