DESCRIPTION:In the exhibition “Vicious Cycle,” Yamazaki questions 
 the ever changing practice of local farming method which is a the star
 ting point of our food chain. With the new settlement of his studio in
  the North of Thailand, Yamazaki gets first hand experience witnessing
  the undeniable influence of industrialization that dictates the farmi
 ng practices. Speed and volume are preeminent in order to service the 
 industrialized demand while eliminating the traditional concept of sus
 tainability and interdependence between community members.\nThe exhibi
 tion challenges the status quo of our common acceptance to this system
 . With our full acknowledgement of the consequential impact to the hea
