 ing of a photography exhibition at Face Bangkok Restaurant. The exhibi
 tion will be featuring a series of photos entitled Urban Lines, a proj
 ect shot exclusively by Bangkok-based photographer, Marc Schultz.\n\nT
 he Urban Lines project is a collection of unique photographs captured 
 in Bangkok which exhibit elements of a developing Asian city in transi
 tion. This series of retrospective pictures portrays details of a grow
 ing urban landscape in which industrializing interests struggle to mod
 ernize, resulting in a sacrifice of some of the city's intrinsic beaut
 y from its past. In the face of this evolution, these images portray v
 ignettes of life from within the few original enclaves of the city tha
 t still remain and provide a glimpse into the historical character of 
 this evolving mecca. In capturing these images, every shot was taken h
 and-held using a fish-eye lens and in only available light. The distor
 ted angles created by the optics produce a unique perspective for the 
 viewer, designed to add to the visual appeal of the imagery.\nMore inf

 on opening party will be held at Face Bangkok Restaurant in the bar ar
 ea from 6PM until 10PM on January 19th, 2010. The exhibition opening p
 arty is open to the public and food and drinks will be served. The pho
 to exhibition will remain on display at Face Bangkok until March 10, 2

 -713-6048\n\nThe Photographer:\n\nMarc Schultz is a Bangkok-based, fin
 e-art travel photographer who is passionate about capturing scenes fro
 m behind the lens of customary Thai life. He has travelled extensively
  throughout Asia and Thailand, with cameras in hand, and spent a year 
 capturing the imagery for the Urban Lines project.\n\nWhen not documen
 ting the idyllic traditional life of rural Thailand, Marc also does co
 mmercial photography work in the fields of journalism, advertising, pr
 oduct, corporate, food, hotel and architectural interior photography.
