  Thai artist Niam Mawornkanong, who uses his art to captivate audience
 s’ attention then set them free to explore their own subconsciousnes
 s. This time around, Niam imparts the thoughtful story of human liveli
 hood by using a vast sea as a narrator.\r\n\r\n“Why we love starring
  at the sea? They said that it can replenish our weary souls whenever 
 we feel exhausted or lost, just look to the vast sky and deep sea that
  split between the horizon into two and we might start to feel relieve
 d, and all the knots to be unravelled for a moment.\r\n\r\nI don’t f
 eel anything special about the sea that much. I haven’t been to the 
 sea for quite some time. There’s that one time I have been to a beac
 h nearby but it didn’t live up to my expectations as I wanted it to 
 be. Despite all of that, many of my previous works have imagery of the
  sea as a background. Often time I see its picture out of the blue, so
 metimes it projected on a wall or even on a space between floor tiles 
 in my bathroom. By just opening up a folded paper, the straight crease
  line in the middle reminisces me of the horizon where the lower part 
 is composed of weaving shape of countless waves, touches from the wil
 dly wind before everything about to show its appearance above the ocea
