 NE\r\n\r\nFurther to the success of Richard Skene’s debut exhibition
  in Bangkok in 2013 entitled “The Road of Excess Leads to the Palace
  of Wisdom”, the Woof Pack is proud to present Richard’s follow-up
  exhibition from 26 April to 5 May 2019.  \r\n\r\nThe exhibition will
  feature three new collections, “Pretty Ugly”, “Flying Colours�
 � and “Cityscapes”, demonstrating Richard’s versatility in creat
 ing multi-media conceptual art, and interest in global social and cult
 ural themes.\r\n \r\nPRETTY UGLY\r\n\r\n“Pretty Ugly” provides po
 rtraits of society by revealing how something can be pretty on the out
 side but ugly on the inside. This concept can be translated to eastern
  philosophy by comparing the “yin” (literally the “shady place�
 �) with the “yang” (literally the “sunny place”), but everythi
 ng and everyone has aspects of yin and yang, in physical or metaphoric
 al terms, for example, shadow cannot exist without light.  \r\n\r\nFL
 YING COLOURS\r\n\r\n“Flying Colours” comprises a collection of pri
 nts based on national flags but with a socio-economic or geo-political
  twist.  The stars and stripes of the USA are featured heavily, which
  demonstrates its position as the world’s dominant superpower, with 
 a wide political diversity and an influential culture - both progressi
 ve and regressive.\r\n\r\nCITYSCAPES\r\n\r\n“Cityscapes” comprises
  a collection of photographs in a variety of global destinations, incl
 uding New York, Hong Kong and Rome. Although covering a wide geographi
 c spread, the images have several common features, such as an abstract
  form with a strong contrast in an urban environment.\r\n \r\nABOUT T
