 eceipt paper that he received after a purchase and freely paints over 
 it. The landscape of the another facet of reality is re-created throug
 h an artistic process. It adheres onto the same object that the purcha
 se’s detail — an emblem of a livelihood— is printed on the oppos
 ite side. The distance between the two facets of reality has edged clo
 ser to be as thick as the thinness of a receipt. Due to the thinness o
 f it, its transparency permits the trace from the other side to appear
  as a shadow of each other. Geng transforms every receipt he received 
 from a period of time into an artwork. Once again, he flips over the v
 ague- and hard-to-grasp- idealistic expression of art, reversing an ex
 pression of his painting into the representation of his living expense
 . To achieve that, he relatively fixes an artwork’s price following 
 the total shown on each slip. This rule remains solid regardlessly how
  much the purchase costs, how large the painting is, nor what the pain
