BEGIN:VCALENDAR PRODID:NingEventWidget-v1 VERSION:2.0 METHOD:PUBLISH BEGIN:VTIMEZONE TZID:Asia/Bangkok X-LIC-LOCATION:Asia/Bangkok BEGIN:STANDARD TZOFFSETFROM:+0700 TZOFFSETTO:+0700 TZNAME:ICT DTSTART:19700101T000000 END:STANDARD END:VTIMEZONE BEGIN:VEVENT UID:2988839:Event:3442704 DTSTAMP:20260627T144303Z SUMMARY:นิทรรศการ \"Pool\" DESCRIPTION:(*) For English please scroll down\r\nในโอกา ที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของก ารเปิดตัวเทศกาลศิลปะ Bangkok B iennale เป็นครั้งแรก ARTIST+RUN ขอนำ สนอผลงานศิลปะ โดย ตินติน คูเปอร์ ในนิทรรศการที่ใช ้ชื่อว่า ‘Pool’\r\nปราดแรกที่ อง นิทรรศการเดี่ยว Pool โดย ตินติน คูเปอร์ ดูจะเป็นเ ื่องเล่าริมสระว่ายน้ำที ่เต็มไปด้วยตัวละครชาย – นุ่มทรงนักกีฬา หรือ ทรงเ เล็บ ที่ถ้าไม่เดินวนไปม ก็หย่อนอิริยาบถอยู่ตาม ี่ต่าง ๆ ประหนึ่งว่ากำลั งใช้วันหยุดพักผ่อนอยู่ใ ประเทศเขตร้อน ซึ่งกำลัง ุยโทรศัพท์ ไม่ก็ใช้โซเช ยลมีเดีย แต่หากเรามองดี ๆ เราจะรู้ว่าบางอย่างกำล ังเกิดขึ้น ‘Phone Call’ (2018) คือภา พเขียนที่ตะบันใช้สีสันฉ ดฉาดบนแผ่นฟิล์มที่มองท ลุได้ ทำให้นึกถึงภาพตาม ินสตาแกรมของบรรดาคนดัง าพที่เห็นคือหนุ่มน้อยกำ ลังคุยโทรศัพท์ด้วยทางท่ ลับ ๆ ล่อๆ ประหนึ่งเสียง ีกฝั่งนั้นเป็นเสียงจากป ิศาจที่ซ่อนอยู่ในแมกไม้ (ปิศาจตนนั้นคือตัวที่มาจ ากภาพวาดของ วิลเลี่ยม เบ ค ชื่อ ‘A Long Story’ จากปี 1798)\r\nภา ‘Bath’ (2018) ที่แสนโฉ่งฉ่างเอ ก็เป็นภาพเขียนที่เหมือน หลุดมาจากสื่อไม่ต่างจาก าพแรกด้วยความที่รูปนี้ กิดจากรูปที่ปาปาราซซีถ่ าย โรนัลโด นักฟุตบอลบนเร อยอชต์ ใน อิบิซา เพียงแต่ ในภาพเขียนนั้นดันเหมือน ิธีการลงน้ำล้างบาปเข้า ิกายเสียมากกว่าจะเป็นกา รล่องเรือวันหยุดอันแสนว ไล ภาพเขียนนี้ผ่านการไล สีและแต่งเติมฝีแปรงด้ว โปรแกรมทางคอมพิวเตอร์ที ่สอดรับกับเทคนิคในงรูป ‘ Phone Call’ ซึ่งสะท้อนถึงเจ้าห ้าจอแบนๆ จากพลาสติกที่ค อบงำชีวิตของชาวเราทั้งห ลาย\r\nในขณะเดียวกัน สิ่งท ่โยกไป โยกมา ระหว่างที่ผ ้คนกำลังชมผลงานคืองานป ะติมากรรม ‘Mixed Emotions’ (2018) ได้ส ดประสานเอาการปลดปล่อยอ รมณ์ผ่านแผ่นกระจกต่างๆ\r\ n‘POOL’ an exhibition by Tintin Cooper\r\nAs part of the opening o f the first ever Bangkok Biennale, ARTIST+RUN Gallery is pleased to an nounce the solo show ‘POOL’ by Tintin Cooper.\r\nThe solo exhibiti on POOL by Tintin Cooper seems at first to follow a loose poolside nar rative of a mostly male cast. Characters- perhaps athletes or celebrit ies- parade or lounge around as if on tropical holidays, on phone call s and social media. Yet on closer inspection we discover something els e is afoot.\r\n‘Phone Call’ (2018) is an unashamedly colourful pai nting on see-through film, reminiscent of typical celebrity Instagram posts. Here a boy talks coyly on his mobile phone but seems to be answ ered by a demon hiding in the tropical foliage (the demon is in fact a reference to William Blake’s illustrations for ‘A Long Story’, 1798).\r\nA larger than life painting ‘Bath’ (2018) similarly take s its cue from media images, in this case a paparazzi shot of football er Ronaldo bathing on a yacht in Ibiza. The resulting painting is more like a baptism by water than a camp yacht holiday. Like ‘Phone Call ’ the painting style echoes that of digital gradients and brushes, r eminding us of the flat plastic screens that dominate our lives.\r\nSi multaneously a floor sculpture aptly called ‘Mixed Emotions’ (2018 ) incorporates comical emoticon expressions onto mirrors, while its bo at-like structure causes it to rock back and forth while viewers navig ate the show.\r\nIn the centre of the room, we see ‘Is Anyone Home? (2018), an installation that could have been remnants of a holiday hut or pool cabin. Half opened painted shutters hang from the structur e, in the process breaking apart the images of paternal and maternal a rchetypes from a totally different era (eg. Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogarts). These works hang in contrast to the others, with its nostal gia, its stark black and wobbling wavy lines, as if painted in water, or reflected in the POOL.
