 \nat CMU ART CENTER\n................\nRiku Mäkinen\nRiku Mäkinen is
  mostly working with silkscreen, but he has also worked a lot on vario
 us different medias like performances, sound, and installations. His w
 ork is often dealing with the power structures in society between inst
 itutions and individual beings. As an artist Mäkinen takes a position
  of an observer and shows how he see things in the community . Works a
 re political, but they don´t give any easy or direct answers. Riku M�
 �kinen also thinks that Europe is heading for\nthe New Middle Ages.\nI
 n Chiangmai Mäkinen exhibits five lithographic prints called \"Monume
 nts\". Partly transparent constructions are versions of a monuments of
  dictatorships in the modern western society where the\npolitics of su
 ppression is often hidden behind \"good deeds\" – not revealing its 
 corrupted, nationalist, economic or phobic real reason.\nMäkinen has 
 also collaborated with Hamm in in pieces called Cultural pieces and Me
 eting the Unknown but Hamm already sent you some info about them.\n\nO
 rawan Kusonsong\nOrawan is often working with mixed medias/installatio
 n/video. As experience in her different culture and attitude aspect be
 tween western and eastern society, she discovered Thai way of thinking
 , living and believing.\nExhibition in Chiang Mai, she presents her wo
 rks in mixed media/art performance by waring white t-shirt written \"�
 ��สื้อตัวนี้สี.....\" (This T-shirt is ……�
