DESCRIPTION:The exhibition “Pa Pang” showcases selections of Pattr
 eeda's illustration work from the last 13 years, many of which had app
 eared in national media such as magazines, book covers, phone cards, c
 hildren stories, animation in music video as well as backdrop of telev
 ision program.\nBesides retrospective work, this exhibition highlights
  Pattreeda's new creation of “paper characters.” With fascination 
 in the aesthetics of paper and its creative value, Pattreeda set out o
 n a new project to create characters of various personalities using sc
 rap paper of all sorts. Through the combination of drawing and collage
 s, Pattreeda gives a second life to the expendable paper waste while s
 taying true to her art genre of simple and naive.\nThe exhibition cont
 inues to be on display until January 31, 2013.\nAbout Pattreeda Prasar
 nthong\nBorn in 1976, Pattreeda Prasarnthong earned a bachelor degree 
 in Communication arts from Chulalongkorn University and a diploma in c
 reative advertising from Falmouth College of Arts in the UK.\nPattreed
 a discovered her passion for the art of illustration while studying un
 der Thailand's foremost illustration artist, M.L.Jirathorn Jiraprawat.
  She went on to study Illustration at UK's Brighton University. Curren
 tly, Pattreeda is an independent illustrator whose work appears regula
 rly in Ploy Gam Petch magazine, Image magazine, and Krua magazine.\n\n
