DESCRIPTION:NOBORI THAIJIN\nJapanese “Nobori” (vertical-hanging ba
 nners) are a common sight in Japan adorning shops, restaurants, festiv
 als and temples. In this upcoming Bangkok exhibition the eye-pleasing 
 proportions of nobori serve as a framework for 4 talented artists’ c
 reative expression. For this show, each artist will create large-forma
 t (1.1 m. x 2.8 m.!) digital prints on Awagami washi paper; the prints
  will then suspend from the exposed beams at Salt restaurant; a favori
 te eatery of Bangkok’s creative community.\nFor ‘Nobori Thajin’ 
 artists, this will be the first time to create such large-scale prints
  on Japanese paper and actually the first time digital prints of this 
 nature will be exhibited in Thailand. With inspirational hand-drawn, p
 hotographic and digital imagery ranging from minimal to complex, the n
 obori-style prints will usher in a new era within Bangkok’s fine art
  printing landscape.\nHost restaurant, Salt celebrates ‘Nobori Thaij
 in’ by launching a new Japanese-inspired menu (artfully printed on A
 wagami paper). They will also give away limited edition mini-prints to
