 ry will complete 2009 with a mixed media exhibition LÁ/PAS LÁ (Here/
 Not Here), which is the first solo show in Asia of French-Japanese art
 ist Shunsuke Francois Nanjo, who defines himself as a multi platform a
 rtist.\n\nShunsuke Francois Nanjo was born in Japan, grew up in France
  and have spent the past 3 years based in Japan, during which time, he
  actively exhibited globally. Multicultural and multilingual, Nanjo re
 presents outstanding young artist from the West as well as the East. H
 is artworks are non-specific in nationalities but speak the universal 
 language of art both visually and conceptually.\n\nIn this exhibition,
  he explores the possibilities of ‘here/not here’ that surround us
  in the present and give his own answers to the questions that emerge 
 from this contemplation. The exhibition will be combined with photogra
 phy, VDO , and installation.\nIn cooperation with Alliance Française 
 de Bangkok and the Japan Foundation, Bangkok\n\nExhibition will be on 
 view from November 5 – December 27, 2009\nOpen Hours: Thursday – S

 09 at 7 pm\n\nShunsuke François NANJO\nBorn 1981, Tokyo (Work and liv
 e in Tokyo and Paris)\n\nShunsuke’s work is focused on the concept o
 f trans-culture employing varied media such as photography, painting, 
 video and installation. Having exhibited in Europe, US and Asia, He is
  drawn towards experimentation and exploration of personal memories an
 d myths contained in spaces or given environment. Shunsuke uses differ
 ent elements of his work as tools to invite his audiences to look at d
 ifferent points of view while constantly posting questions “Where ar
