 ses the latest artworks by Silawit\nPoolsawat, who reveals the essence
  of beauty within shades of imperfection.\n“Life in Monogram” is a
  solo exhibition of latest artworks by Silawit Poolsawat, a talented a
 rtist\nfrom Thailand’s renowned Silpakorn University. The Thai artis
 t has been attracted to the energy of\nhistory and painting since a yo
 ung age. Combining his love for both in this exhibition, “Life in\nM
 onogram” presents the lessons hidden in old photographs that have fa
 ded away.\nOld photographs have all the markings of an imperfect memor
 y: they are typically faded,\ndamaged, and unused. However, the aura o
 f the old is what inspires Silawit Poolsawat in creating\nhis masterpi
 eces. The authenticity and rawness of it provokes him to animate and b
 reathe life into\nwhat was once extinct. The subjects in his works are
  inspired from various old photographs of\nAsian women. They provide a
 n emotional historical passage to the way of living, culture, and the\
 nbelief system of today’s generation in Southeast Asia.\nAlong with 
 the emotional portraits of past beauty, the artist takes the audience 
 on a journey to\nthe past – reminding us of an era when monograms we
 re in style and beauty was authentic.\nThe artist believes that althou
 gh the photographs have faded with time, the culture and beliefs\nare 
 still of value today and preserves their essence through his mesmerizi
