 o travel through time with the Choir Concert “La Boîte à Musique�
 � to be held on September 14 and 15 at 19:30 hrs. The choir master and
  choral director Henri Pompidor will conduct the Thailand Inter-Univer
 sities Chamber Choir with the 26 Thai singers and soloists from severa
 l of Thailand’s universities.\n“La Boîte à Musique” (music box
 ) of French song memories\nAccompanied by piano improvisations, during
  this choral concert singers will take the audience on a journey throu
 gh 15 centuries of French songs, with each song illustrating a page of
  France’s cultural heritage up to present times. Ranging from the me
 lodies of Claude Debussy to those of Serge Gainsbourg, this musical jo
 urney will include unforgettable songs and some of the most beautiful 
 lyrics ever written in French.\nA native of Southern France with a PhD
  in music and musicology, Henri Pompidor studied music, organ music an
 d choral singing at France’s Regional Music Conservatory of Toulouse
  and University of Paris-Sorbonne. In 2006, he joined the staff of Mah
 idol University—the university with the most extensive music curricu
 lum in Thailand—as choir master and choral director. He currently al
 so serves as choir master of the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra’s P
 hilharmonic Choir.\nThe concert will be staged at the auditorium of Al
 liance francaise Bangkok, Sathorn Tai Road. Tickets are THB 250 for st
 udents and members and THB 400 for public. The tickets can be purchase
