 nKoi Art Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition of “I Wonder 
 a Wonderland” to be held from July 4 to 31, 2013. This exhibition la
 unches the latest artworks of Thai artist Prang Vejjajiva, who explore
 s the personal concepts of joy, escape and perspective through the sur
 real eyes of the feline.\n“I Wonder a Wonderland” is a solo exhibi
 tion of latest artworks by Prang Vejjajiva, daughter of former Prime M
 inister Aphisit Vejjajiva and talented fine art graduate of Chulalongk
 orn University. One of Thailand’s young generation artists, Prang ex
 plores personal concepts of joy, escape and perspective through the su
 rreal eyes of the feline.\n“I Wonder a Wonderland” takes viewers t
 o another dimension, one filled with sweetness, imagination and possib
 ilities. The artist explains the subject of her paintings is inspired 
 by the cat’s nature and personality, one that complements her own. T
 hrough this series of works, the artist draws attention to the obscuri
 ty of daily objects. Approaching everyday mundane objects with a surre
 alist and exaggerated flair, the works possess a dreamlike quality tha
 t captures the gaze of audiences. Light-colored hues emphasize the inn
 ocence and wonder instilled in the paintings, while skillfully and suc
 cessfully merging human characteristics into its subject matter and su
 rroundings.\nEach work refers to different types of joy and escape tha
 t the artist presents, whether one of personal freedom, the simplicity
  of a delicious meal, or enjoying an idyllic sunset. The imagination i
 s weaved into the essence of each work, liberating the viewer of rules
  of obligations that come with society. With inspiration and simplicit
 y, the artist invites everyone to view their daily lives with the same
