DESCRIPTION:Alliance francaise de Bangkok is proud to showcase the exc
 iting urban perspective photo exhibition “Hurban Vortex” (man in t
 he middle of the urban world) by globe-trotting photographer Boris Wil
 ensky to be displayed from June 19 to July 22 (closed on Monday) at Al
 liance francaise’s media library. The exhibition is free and open to
  the public.\nDepicting Asia’s mega cities from new angles, Boris Wi
 lensky’s photos blend people and things, shapes and colors by superi
 mposing shots taken at fast and slow speed. As he puts together two di
 gital negatives without retouching them, the artist invites up to refl
 ect on the fusion of human beings with the urban environment. Having s
 hot in two Asian cities, Wilensky intends to continue this project on 
 urban settings on other continents in order to better grasp and record
  the uniqueness of the various urban environments.\nWith a passion for
  urban music and solo trips, this French who holds a degree in town pl
 anning from the French Université de Nantes works exclusively in Pari
 s. Whether his exhibitions include portraits of artists or unknown fig
 ures, urban scenes, or instant shots of boxing matches, Wilensky shows
