The gallery is located at 238 Sukhumvit Soi 22, Soi Sainamthip 2, Klongtoey 10110.\r\nThis series of photographs is an exp loration of the forms that exist briefly before the rational mind and its protective familiarity take control, those fragmentary, elusive an d semi-visible aspects of experience. The figure, captured in all of t hese images, is a conduit for the short chaos that precedes daydreams, moments of unease in nature, narratives that struggle with articulati on.The title of this work comes from a story in which the intangible a nd the imaginary shock wakeful existence. Gradiva then is an accidenta l muse, a woman named after the god of war walking into battle, who st eps between the real and the imaginary.\r\nShane Bunnag (b 1976, Cambr idge, England) is a Thai/British filmmaker and photographer based in B angkok and Paris. Shane grew up in Greece and England, and studied His tory at the University of Edinburgh. His film work includes the Greek language feature All for Nothing (2006), and numerous documentaries sh ot in Thailand.
