Tanatchai Bandasak created thi s figure according to what he found during a walk in the woods in his hometown, Udonthani. Accumulating definite objects, events and experie nces from his daily life, the artist is in search of nothing in partic ular, but later their associations are found. \"I just captured them w hen it felt right. Later in the editing process, I found their connect ions, a narration\" said the artist. \"Then, all that was found is tak en into the process of abstracting\" he added.\n\"Go, Said the Bird\", Bandasak's current work explores the possibilities of transmitting th e inter-relation of the nature of existence and substance of things. B y doing so, devices for an exhibition are created, a wooden discus lea ning against an air-frame-structure and a wooden table standing in a w hite-washed room. These devices suggest the sensation of being in-tran sit and weightlessness. Something solid and tangible in their appearan ce are, in fact, amorphous. Bandasak's work invites us to create more depth in the light of our own experience.\nTanatchai Bandasak graduate d from the École Nationale Supérieure D'ARTS Paris-Cergy in 2011. Be fore that he studied film and photography at the Thammasat University in Bangkok. Bandasak has produced many moving-image works, which have been screened worldwide including the Hamburg International Short Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam and Rencontres Intern ationales at Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
