 The artistic partnership with Kostar reflects SO/ Bangkok’s hallmark
  of blending art and hospitality, restyling the hotel interiors with t
 hought-provoking art. Although the acclaimed urban artist Kostar was b
 orn in the 1970s in Paris, he has been based in and inspired by many d
 ifferent cities. Creative and inventive, Kostar experiments with a myr
 iad of surfaces and textures to redefine urban art and graffiti. With 
 a fun dose of humor and color, Kostar is best known for creating new d
 imensions, especially through artistic hybrids of two contrasting conc
 epts.\r\n\r\nForward-thinking and audacious —similar to SO/ Bangkok�
 ��s persona — Kostar believes that the sky is barely the limit. He b
 rought his latest sculptural figure Mr Balloon to 40-km high in outer 
 space with a camera to witness it all. Made with fiberglass and chromi
 um on stainless steel, Mr Balloon is a symbol of hope and liberty. The
  face of the character features a giant eye, signifying Mr Balloon and
  its artist’s global vision. And yet, his posture conveys fragility 
 and perfect equilibrium.\r\n\r\nSO/ Bangkok is thrilled to display a c
 urated collection of Kostar’s art and Mr Balloon sculptures at the p
 ark lobby of the hotel. After a speech of our fave General Manager Jea
