 can artist, Fernando Aceves Humanas from May 12th to June 30 th 2011.Â
  Fernando Aceves Humana is established as an independent artist in Oax
 aca, Mexico. His lithographs are famous for their flamboyant colors an
 d their crude, realistic yet surreal subjects. His paintings, drawing
 s and lithographs often approach topics of ecology, animals trapped in
  urban landscapes. The fiery skies, the expressive gestures of animals
  and their scared looks gives to his work an impression of apocalypse.
  Fernando has been working with the famous engraving studio ''Bramsen
 '' in Paris in 2009 on the production of this serie of large lithograp
 hs. These lithographs are part of his catalogue ''En Riesgo'' publishe
 d in the framework of the exhibition ''En Riesgo'' in the ''Museo de l
 os pintores Oaxaquenos'' in 2009. BIOGRAPHY Born in Mexico City in 1
 969, Fernando Aceves Humana studied Fine Art at the Universidad Nacion
 al Autonoma de Mexico and majored in printmaking at the Academy of Bel
 le Arti di Roma, Italy. Aceves Humana has been awarded the young arti
 sts program of the National Fund for Culture and the Arts and has earn
 ed the scholarship of artistic excellence in France with a residency a
 t Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris, where the series In Riesgo be
 gan. In 2007 Fernando Aceves Humana and Javier Arean established the 
 first metal engraving print workshop at the National Faculty of Fine A
 rts in Vientiane and Luang Prabang in Laos. Aceves Humana has receive
 d various awards including IX National Meeting of Young Artists, Tamay
 o 1st National Biennale of Graphic Arts and Honourable Mention in the 
 XIV Biennale Rufino Tamayo. He has exhibited in Mexico, Switzerland, 
 Senegal, Spain, France, Italy, Vietnam and England. In 2008 he bacame
  a member of Sistema Nacional de Creadores, FONCA, Mexico. Within En 
 Riesgo, Aceves Humana has developed a portfolio of lithographs in coll
 aboration with the workshops of Clot Bramsen in Paris. Aceves Humana n
 ow works and teaches in Oaxaca City, Mexico. \n\nFor more information
