The six femal e artists represent the influential concept in women’s movement thro ugh the history of art since the 1970s, that handicraft and daily skil ls, such as note keeping, cooking, and sewing, should not be separated from the quality of being an artist, and the artistic value in women s works should not be measured by the ability to achieve equivalent or better results in comparison with their male counterparts. This is the exhibition from female artists who have overcome the discriminatio n; their works portray traces of overlap in space and time, while thei r unique skills prove that life, gender and art can sometimes coexist in the most subtle way.
