The exhibition will run from the 22ndof September to the 23rd of Oc tober, 2011. An opening reception will be held at Whitespace Gallery o n Thursday, the 29th of October from 6 till 8 p.m.Conceived Truths re flects Supawat’s focus on the distinction between the coretheologies and mythologies of Buddhism.  In his series of interactive artworks, Supawat questions the conflicting yet cohesive elements of Buddhism in the modern era. His amalgamation of mixed media artworks with moti on sensors and programmed lighting give his commentary on the physica l and the illusionary unique visual integrityHe argues for the importa nce of contemplating the differences between the principle truths and disinformation observed in beliefs across the globe.Supawat Wattanapi kowit was born in Bangkok in 1984. He studied at the College of Fine  Arts in Ladkrabang before receiving his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Silpakorn University.
