DESCRIPTION:\nBUKRUK II Urban arts festival is a 10-day project featur
 ing not only public wall paintings, but also art exhibitions, artist t
 alks, animation night and three stages music open-air festival, visual
  happenings, mapping projections and workshops.\nA Stronger visual ide
 ntity\nThe general atmosphere of this new edition of BUKRUK will be im
 printed by the bizarre, the uncanny and the surreal. More transversal 
 activities will be proposed: A one of a kind music festival will offic
 ially launch Bukruk II, with bands and DJs from Europe and Asia, food 
 and design market, mapping/ video projections. Each artist’s persona
 l work will be presented in solo or duo exhibitions, in over 10 galler
 y partner spaces.\nMore Countries involved\nBUKRUK 2013 was the Thai-E
 urope connection; BUKRUK 2016 will be the Asia-Europe connection. For 
 this present edition, we focused on a selection of emerging and establ
 ished Asian and European artists who are becoming more and more eloque
 nt and original on the international level.\nA wider range of activiti
 es and events\nPUBLIC WALL ART / 3 STAGES MUSIC FESTIVAL / PERSONAL EX
 HIBITIONS / MOBILE PRINT SHOP / ARTIST TALKS / WORKSHOPS / CLOSING PAR
 TY\nNew Location\nAll exhibitions, walls and activities will be set in
  the riverside, Bang Rak/Klong San. We hope the public artworks will h
 elp breathe new life into Bangkok and attract international attention 
 to one of its richest and nevertheless neglected historic center.\nBy 
 creating this open-air museum, we will design a map connecting not onl
 y the painted walls but also the historical buildings and art spaces s
 cattered in the area. By working with the local communities, Talad Noi
  association and the River creative district project we hope this edit
 ion of Bukruk can help elevate the awareness towards the importance of
