DESCRIPTION:Thavibu Gallery is pleased to present the art exhibition B
 ruised with new acrylic paintings on canvas by Thaweesak Srithongdee.H
 aving previously engineered a spurious race of Adonic, pectoral define
 d, super-beings that played with perceptions of body image, Thaweesak 
 or Lolay as he is better known, expands his fascination with the human
  condition to question our existence and ultimate survival. Bruises an
 d scars bear the physical trace of individual fallibility, but they al
 so provoke assumptions as to the history and determiners behind such i
 nflictions.     Thaweesak Srithongdee is 41 years old and one of Th
 ailand’s most internationally recognized artists.  He is well known
  as a painter and illustrator, but has recently also ventured into vid
 eo and producing sculptures.  He has participated in numerous exhibit
 ions in Thailand and abroad, including a residency at the Fukuoka Asia
 n Art Museum in Japan in 2005, the Fukuoka Triennale, and the 2010 Bus
