 exhibition ABSTRACTIONS with oil paintings by the Japanese\nartist Nui
 t Sano.\nIn her series of abstractions on canvas, Nuit Sano gives us g
 limpses of her life. Colourful, vibrant, bright and\noptimistic. In he
 r series of paintings, which are well recognized in Japan and abroad, 
 she blends colours in\nartistic ways. Blue is almost always present, a
 nd from here she builds internal or external landscapes and other\nsha
 pes. Her blending of colours is masterful and reveals an astute sense 
 of colours. Some of her works touch on\nrealism, though there are alwa
 ys elements of abstractions present.\nNuit Sano was born in Hirosaki C
 ity and graduated from the Joshibi University of Art and Design in 195
 5. She\nserved as professor at the University for a number of years, a
 s well as raising to become Dean and President,\nbefore her retirement
 . She is one of Japan's most well known artists of her generation focu
 sing on abstractions.\nHer long lists of awards and international exhi
 bitions include shows in United Kingdom, France, Singapore, and\nChina
 . She was awarded honorary citzen of Hirosaki City in 2015.\n\nFor mor
