 Exhibition “Copy-Paste” 12th March - 9th May, 2015Opening receptio
 nThursday 12th March 6.00pm - 8.00pm2nd Floor, Sombatpermpoon Gallery\
 nSombat Permpoon Gallery is delighted to present “Copy-Paste”. The
  art exhibition explores the problems in Thailand’s education system
 , through the expressions of seven artists who have had experience the
  education system in both roles as students and teachers.\n“Copy-Pas
 te” refers to the Thai education culture where learning is centered 
 around memorizing from text books and following instructions from teac
 hers/educators. Students are not encouraged to be independent and crea
 tive, and critical thinking while discovering one's individual strengt
 hs are not commonly promoted. Through the exhibition, 7 artists use ar
 t to tell relay their experiences in Thai schools and create a dialogu
 e with their audiences about whether they experienced the same thing.\
